Course Description:

  • Marketing Management
    This course develops students' understanding of marketing principles and marketing process. Emphasis is on the fundamental methods and approaches of how to discover and satisfy customers' needs and wants through market research, segmentation, assessment and selection of markets, product positioning, new product development, pricing, promotion, and distribution.
  • Accounting and Financial Report
    This course deals with three principal financial statements of profit-directed companies, namely the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows. It develops skills in how to use accounting information to analyze the performance and financial condition of a company, and to facilitate decision-making, planning and budgeting, and performance appraisal in a managerial context.
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
    This course will cover all of the major aspects for starting your own business. It includes how to become a business from an idea and how to start a business; how to write business plans and how to raise funds; how to make a business survive and how to make a business growing successfully. You will get fully understand for the innovation and entrepreneurship from several interesting case studies.
  • Corporate Finance
    The course provides introduction to the financial management of modern corporations and to basic principles of investing. The course will focus on developing the financial and analytical skills and logical thought processes necessary to make and implement strategic corporate financial decisions. Upon successful completion of this module, students will have developed an understanding of basic principles (the concept of Time Value of Money, the basic valuation of Stocks and Bonds, the concept of Risk and Return, Portfolio Theory and diversification) in financial management in firms.
  • Business and Professional Communication
    The course is intended not only to provide a practical and theoretical understanding of communication in business and professional contexts, but also to be focused on a skills-oriented format and designed to assist participants in developing and practicing many significant and necessary communicative abilities and skills which are essential for their professional success in today's world. With this class, the study could build the ability to present ideas and concepts in a clear, concise and many times persuasive manner, and to communicate effectively on an interpersonal level with co-workers: peers, superiors or subordinates.
  • Investment Management
    The goal of this course is to provide students the fundamentals of corporate financial risk management. The first part of this course develops statistical tools and techniques required to identify and measure different aspect of corporate financial risk. Next these measures are used to build, evaluate and understand financial risk management solutions. This course will also focus on financial risks emanating from two “new” developments in the capital market – the emergence of Private Equity and Hedge Funds. Specifically, how have these two markets contributed to the current crisis in risk management. Case methods will be used to highlight the value of identifying, monitoring and managing of such risks.
  • Business Strategy
    The course designed specifically to broaden your perspective on how to make organizations more competitive. Strategic thinking and management for competitive advantage examines a variety of options for growth, including acquisition and internal corporate ventures.
  • Project Management
    Build a solid foundation of project management knowledge, techniques and tools in the course. The course also includes information technology project management, best practices for the multi-project management, project team leadership.
  • Negotiation
    The course will teach the difference between positional and interest-based negotiation; what your negotiation tendencies are; when to say yes and when to say no; how to negotiate as part of a team; how to deal with difficult and deceptive negotiators; strategies for making a cold call - initiating a negotiation; how to negotiate with an inflexible bureaucrat.
